I was looking through some of the services on my resource pages and visited the Braggin’ Board of Mactown Outfitters.  Looking through their pics, I came across a buck that looked like no other I’ve ever seen. 

This buck has an antler coming out of the side of its face.  Yes, coming out of the side of its face.  When I contacted Mactown Outfitters about the buck and permission to publish the pics, here is the response that I received.

as for the antler coming out there is an argument on that. i think it looks like he was in a fight and broke it off an other buck, but my buddy found trail cam pics of a deer that resembles this deer in velvet that has an antler growing from its face???

Looking at the pictures, my vote is a fight but I would be interested what everyone else thinks.  Warning, I’ve posted these pictures in a large format so that you can clearly see the buck.  They may take a bit to load on dial-up but the buck is so unique it will be worth the wait.
