About
Welcome to Penn’s Outdoors, the blog that covers Pennsylvania fishing and hunting. Oh yeah, we also cover some fishing and hunting trip destinations beyond the State’s borders.
My name is Chris, and I am a for-fun blogger. The picture is of one of my favorite fishing partners, Austin, and I on a remote lake in Ontario at Lost Lake Wilderness Lodge holding his first northern pike. I have been an avid fisherman all of my life and love to talk fishing with anyone and everyone. I’ve recently decided to return to hunting after a few years away.
I live in Pennsylvania and have done all of my hunting in the Commonwealth. I’ve logged many hours in the woods and managed to harvest a few deer. My home fishing waters are the Susquehanna River and the lakes and streams of South Central PA. I love to take fishing trips to new places and have fished in New York, Colorado, Ontario, Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina. My favorite is Ontario. I love targeting Ontario’s northern pike, walleye, and my favorite, the smallmouth bass.
This site was inspired by how much time I spend on the web trying to find information. In this site, I will blog on items that are of interest to me and that I think might help others who fish and hunt Penn’s waters and woods. I am by no means an expert, but I hope you find this site helpful.
