Hunting Forums
Archery Talk - Archery Talk is not specifically a Pennsylvania site but it is a great place for the archer to get their questions answered. I have posted a number of “stupid” questions on the site as a newbie returning to the sport of archery after 20 years. My questions are always answered in a way that is extremely helpful. Their motto is “Archers Helping Archers” and that is certainly how the site is run. They also have a very active for sale section. I have been keeping my eye out for a “new to me” bow on the site.
Hunting Pennsylvania - This, in my opinion, is the premium message board site for Pennsylvania hunters. (They also have some fishing sections.) This site is real active in a number of its forums. Want to debate deer management? Look no further, all different perspectives are here. The site appears to be moderated pretty well. Their most active forums are:

That’s quite an impressive list for any forum. In fact, it is a bit overwhelming to try and keep up with even just a couple of the forums. They have over 60 forums in total and many that I didn’t mention are quite active. It is really hard to keep a message board of this size operating smoothly. The folks at Hunting Pennsylvania do a great job. Free registration is required to post but not to view.
Pennsylvania Sportsmen Portal - This is another very nicely designed site. Their forums are well organized and pretty active. They have over 15 hunting forums and several fishing forums. Their most popular hunting forums are Legislative Talk; Whitetail; and Predator, Varmints and Trapping.
